I am delighted to welcome you to Haydock English Martyrs’.

Haydock English Martyrs’ is a vibrant and welcoming school community, and as your new headteacher, I very much look forward to working in partnership with you to ensure the very best outcomes for all our children.

At Haydock English Martyrs’ Catholic Primary School, our mission is to light the flame for lifelong learning, a flame that burns brightly throughout each child’s life—a flame of faith, learning, love, ambition, community, energy and hope.

Inspired by the courage and unwavering faith of the English Martyrs, we strive to be a community where every child is known, loved and encouraged to flourish as a unique child of God. Our Catholic faith is the foundation of all that we do, shaping our relationships, our decisions and our commitment to serving others with compassion, dignity and respect.

We will ignite curiosity, inspire a love of learning and nurture the confidence for every child to embrace challenges, think deeply and discover their God-given talents. Through an ambitious curriculum, exceptional teaching and high expectations, we will empower every child to achieve excellence and become resilient, independent learners who continue to grow long after they leave our school.
