Keeping Children Safe

Haydock English Martyrs’ Catholic Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all families, staff and visitors to share this commitment.

Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone and concerns must always be reported.

The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for Safeguarding and Child Protection is Miss Prescott, the Headteacher.

The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSLs) for Safeguarding and Child Protection are Mrs Gokoglu, our Learning Mentor and Mrs Webster our Deputy Head Teacher & SENDCo.

The School Governor responsible for  Safeguarding & Attendance is Mrs S Evans.

All staff receive regular training in Safeguarding and Child Protection.
